Hear From Some of Triple8Training’s Riders

Biggest Takeaway

The biggest thing I’ve taken away from my time with Billy is the attention to detail and the habits that become second nature over time. We spent years working on technique, and a lot of those things are now just automatic. Even the little things stick with you - my bike always goes into neutral, and if my goggles come off, they sit the right way up on the handlebars. Overall, it’s the constant technique work over the years that has had the biggest impact on my riding.

Why Young Riders Should Train with Triple8Training

Billy has a great way of making things make sense. He explains everything in a way that's easy to understand and takes the time to make sure you really get what he's trying to teach. The coaching is clear, practical, and easy to apply on the bike. It's Billy's attention to the fundamentals and the small details that helps riders improve with confidence. If you want proof that Triple8Training works, take a look at Cole and me.

Biggest Takeaway

One of the most valuable things I've learned from training and spending time around Billy, both on and off the bike, is his commitment to building riders from the ground up. Nothing is rushed, and no corners are cut. He puts a huge emphasis on the simple things that create good habits, making the more difficult skills and techniques much easier to learn later on. From day one, the focus is on building strong foundations that stay with you throughout your riding career.

Why Young Riders Should Train with Triple8Training

One of Billy's biggest strengths is how well he works with younger riders. He has a way of making complex skills easy to understand and apply. Looking at riders like Cole Davies and Brodie Connolly, who both trained with Billy from a young age, you can see those technical habits and techniques were developed early. They're still using those same fundamentals while racing professionally in America, which says a lot about the quality of Billy’s coaching and the value of building good habits from the start.
